This magazine has a national appeal due to content and news of what’s happening in various states.

Point of note: Colour coding of pages makes for quick finding of sections within the magazine. Six months of the ‘Clippings’ section continues to ignore subTropical Gardening, Burke’s Backyard and the Garden Clinic magazines – Why?

Is it possible to advertise real estate for sale in your magazine. We have a property in the hawkesbury district which has previously been used as a wholesale and retail nursery and is set up with underground irrigation and unlimited water. We are now getting too old to continue to maintain the property, but before listing it with an agent we thought it may be a good idea to let people in the industry know about it. It would be appreciated if you could let me know – and what it would cost. Many thanks, Jan.

We used to subscribe to the magazine, and are considering doing so again, with a view to advertizing therein. Could you let us have one or two recent copies to look at, please? Many thanks, Terania Rainforest Nursery Pty Ltd, P.O. Box 850 (299 Main Arm Road), Mullumbimby, N.S.W. 2482

We have been subscribers for many years. We bought our nursery from Ken Dunstan of( Tibouchuna Alstonville fame) in 1988. I have a very poor photocopy of an article by Don Bourke (Associate Editor) from March 1984 about ” Dr George Hewitt and the Tibouchina.”
Is there any way I can get a scanned copy of this article as the local Historical Society wants information about this plant. I am in the process of doing a booklet and would like to include this correct information. Please also advise me of copyright details in regards to this.

You have to deal directly with Burke’s Backyard regarding copyright issues. Go direct to the source.
